Take a deep breath… you’re gonna need it. For a group of doctors who treat conditions like asthma, they certainly weren’t thinking of their patients (or the person answering the phones) when they chose their new name. Still, in the Google age, there’s nothing wrong with saying where and what you do on the tin. And so, Design Clinic set about taming the beast.
process
We started with their coastal setting, and shortly after struck upon the theme of ‘rhythm.’ From here we began exploring the connection between breathing and sleeping which in turn translated into a calm wave device. Aside from being an abstract expression of the subject matter, as a visual device it helped us lock up the awkwardly long name into a balanced logotype. Calming blues and a cloud-like texture deliver an empathetic softness important for any medical brand to convey.
